What Inspired Me to Solo Backpack in Africa For 3 Months

After eleven years of traveling the world, I feel the pull to return to the roots of humanity, to the cradle of civilization itself. Africa calls to me with its rich tapestry of cultures, landscapes, and histories.

It will soon be time to immerse myself, to discover its secrets and unveil its mysteries. Thus, I will make the bold decision to embark on a solo journey through Africa for three months, backpacking from Cape Town to Cairo, relying solely on public transportation - buses, ferries, and trains.

My decision to traverse the length of Africa will be driven by a deep desire to connect with the diverse cultures that call this continent home. From the vibrant rhythms of South Africa to the ancient traditions of Egypt, I will yearn to experience the pulse of Africa firsthand.
